Angelo ResidenceSeeking to evoke the atmosphere of the hippest hotels in Los Angeles, this client wanted modern design infused with an aura of casual chic.

Bauer Residence A hip young couple wanted to renovate their mid-century modern ranch house so they could entertain with ease, showcase their art collection and surround themselves and their kids with an interior environment that reflected their gregarious lifestyle. A dated classic became a stunning and warm contemporary home with lots of areas for conversation. We used natural finishes tied to a neutral palette with some whimsical surprises throughout. A not-so-serious Zen modern look.

Broadway Hollywood Loft A wide-open, raw loft space with the Hollywood Sign and Capital Records building as a backdrop, served as the perfect canvas to create a professional musician's not-so-subtle retreat. This was a fun one - witness the glowing bed, black chandeliers with red bulbs, and femur-themed bathroom wallpaper. Hard to top this for mixing style with creativity.

Caparoni Residence As seen on HGTV's Designer's Challenge - this bathroom was dark and dated before we turned it into a young couple's personal spa retreat. |

Coburn Residence We used rich dark woods, glass and brushed chrome accents to bring a contemporary look to this newly-renovated two-story home. |

Dembo Residence An excellent example of how we balance modern aesthetics with the desire to preserve the warmth of a particular space. |

Drucker Residence A small targeted strike. We renovated a pouty, drab powder room and created a mediterranean spa destination complete with tumbled stone, wrought iron fixtures and mahogany vanity. Yes, I know I need more photos of this one, but you get the idea.

Glenn ResidenceA superb example of the indoor/outdoor meme that dominated mid-century modern design, our client wanted this house to have a zen-like interior but with a dash of fun and whimsy.

Hattler Residence How do we describe this one... how about French Normandie with a twist! Here's an uncommon eclectic and coloful blend of furniture, textiles and contemporary elements such as hand-blown glass light fixtures that all come together to produce something elegant, yet easy to live in. A comfortable home that our client can still have fun with.

Magliato Residence Here was a busy family of husband and wife physicians with two small children who needed a warm, comfortable and kid friendly space for their friends and family to enjoy as they escape from their busy lives. We used a more neutral palette here since so much color was being brought in through the art and ethnic accessories. We chose woods with more character - grainy and stripe-y species such as zebra and walnut - which compliment the accessories. We selected furniture that felt more substantial- sturdy and very straightforward but always with style.

McGlashan Residence this 1920's Mediterranean-style home in San Francisco mixes Asian, African, and even art deco influences amidst plush seating and dining arrangements.

 |
Olmstead Residence We gave this traditional home a complete facelift and in the process incorporated some of my most favorite finish material families and decorative elements/fixtures. The state - of - the - art kitchen featuring Miele and Sub Zero appliances was a dream-come-true for my client who loved to play chef when she wasn't being Mommy. You'll note George Nelson lighting fixtures, luscious hand-woven wool rugs, and the use of warm woods throughout. When needed, the couple can escape to a spa-like master bath including a soaking tub, and stone-topped double vanity and a shower clad in aqua glass tiles. Check out the river rock shower floor - a wonderfully tactile experience that helps re-connect you with nature.
